Spotify? Sounds like a teenager's face cream.

If you are one of the hundreds of people wanted to know what we listen to, well thanks to Spotify i can share my playlist with you! How amazing is that?!
(The answer is "Very amazing, Nic. Now get in my pants.")

Here's the link to my playlist: My Jamz!

Now we can all enjoy the same songs at the same time!
And i will not defend myself for including 5ive and Savage Garden in there. They have good songs!

I'm actually straight. Ladies.

Love, Nic x

A Dog Named 'FlommyBooBumDiddle'

00:30 (Sunday morning) - I get a phone call from jack. He's outside my house, waiting to give me a lift to his house with my guitar so that we can jam.

01:30 - By now we are both intoxicated, I pick up a guitar. We both know whatever happens next has never been done before and will probably be the most amazing piece of musical and lyrical mastery that either of us has ever heard.

02:30 - We have written a blues song ...about a 'wale-phin' and a woman who says 'cat' after every fifth word.

DAMN YOU INTOXICATION!

Love, Nic x

'Happy Christmas!' and 'Merry New Year!' ...wait

I hope you all got simply wonderful presents of Christmas.
I got a Phase Shifter pedal. It's a fancy new toy that makes me sound like this.
Well, i got it for my birthday near the end of November, but i've not updated this site in ages and ages!
I've got lots of new Hidden Claws related things to tell you about.

Sometime last month me and Jack had a pretty awesome jam session with two other dudes called Tom Wilks and Ben Richardson. Tom was on bass and Ben was on rhythm guitar and lead vocals. It sounded pretty freakin' sweet to be honest.
We just jammed mainly, came up with a new song called "Summer of '94" (i think?) played a hell of a lot of Blink 182 songs and even gave "Utrecht" a go as a foursome! Was special.
Could this be a new incarnation of the band you know and love?
(No, not Kings of Leon, i was talking about Hidden Claws! Concentrate!)
We'll have to wait and see ;)

Ben wants us to get together and jam again, either in the studio or at his house. I think it's a great idea!
What ever happens, Hidden Claws will never die! Even if it's just Jack and myself sat as old men in our retirement homes in 60 years time, H.C. FO' LYFE YO!

Also, we've got a couple of possible gigs planned in 2010. The first one is for our mate Josh's birthday, he's having a few bands play as it's his 21st. No doubt Hidden Claws will headline of course, as we are the best band ever. Will probs be an acoustic set. More information will follow when i have it.
The second is at dear Jackothy Foster's birthday. He's renting out a place for his 21st and having a few bands on too. Including his college band called 'Down With Thieves'.

I get jealous of his other band. I get band envy.

Love, Nic x
